International code flags are used to signal between two ships or between ship and shore. They are a set of ship flags of different colors, shapes and markings that have different meanings when used singly or in combination.

• Yellow with central black circle: India. Altering course to port.
• White with read diamond: Foxtrot. Disabled
• Blue with a white square: Papa. About to sail.
• Yellow and red: Oscar. Man overboard.
